The sun is shining so bright this morning on a beautiful white world. I didn't realize that the lack of it was starting to depress me till I saw it this morning.
I saw Brent fall for the second time in my life earlier today. Both times this has happened I just crack up laughing because it is so funny to see him mess up on something. He left in a terrible rush with only a couple minutes to make it the 3 blocks to his bus stop. He was running through our driveway and hit a patch of ice under the snow. I was just locking up behind him when I saw him go down. Later I found his main dish from his lunch- a baggie of pizza- lying there marking the spot.
Caroline is a silly girl with a bad habit. She keeps creating fresh scabs and then picking them off till they bleed. At one time last week she had five bloody scabs on her face. Just now she ran by with a bloody arm. I don't know how she keeps coming up with owies except that I think she actually just picks on her skin till she breaks through. Is this an a medical disorder? It reminds me of something you would see on a dateline freak show.
Right now I better go, because my girls just started a tennis match in my living room right behind me. I can't decide if I should allow it or not. They are using a nerf ball, and we really don't have any other rooms suitable for it. It has been a LONG early spring break. It's Amazing how they never stop coming up with stuff to do. Most activities involve the rearrangement of our living/dining room. And they always end up with girls crying that it isn't fair that they have to clean it up. I just wish we could play without making a mess. I keep getting the house just how I want it when I go to the hospital and then they trash it again. I've have always hated leaving the house in a mess, and it is impossible to feel prepared for the new baby when you have 4 more racing through it all the time.

I'm impressed that you are trying to get the house in shape at all - the third trimester of my pregnancies were spent beached on the couch moaning for it to be over. You have so much energy for a pregnant woman that I just can't believe it.
Jeremy slipped once in Boston walking around the front of the car. He banged the hood trying to steady himself on the way down. I stayed in teh car because I thought he was joking. After a few minutes I got out and he was still just laying there and had whacked his head. He was mad--but you can't blame me. He was always pretending to run into stuff or fall down.
I have that scab picking disorder!! luckily, age & not wanting a scar usually prevents me from the scab-pick-bleed-scab cycle now, but sometimes it feels SO GOOD to pick off a bloody scab.
(disgusting? yes.)
hilarious post!
Laura that is so funny that he just stayed down until you came and checked. Brent pops up so fast like he is just so embarrassed.
He wouldn't even reply when I called out if he was okay. Just ran off. That is why I can't help laughing.
