Watkins Glen State Park
Located on Seneca Lake, a couple hours from Buffalo is one of NY's hidden wonders. We camped in the park for $25 a night. This included use of an olympic size swimming pool and access to hiking the falls, right behind our campsight. The hike took a couple hours but wasn't even too much for our four yr. old. Mainly because it's so exciting. They just keep falling and falling. You hike right next to the water and around every turn is another breathtaking sight, so no excuse to get bored and start feeling how tired you are. You can hike up one side and come back on the another having a completely different experience. The best part is that it was all right on the way to NYC.

What a fun trip. YOur pictures make me want to go hike there. How did it go with Marcus? He's looking so much older than when we saw him...and so much like Brent.
I was going through some papers and found your blog...so glad I did.....Your new little son is so cute, and it was fun to see your family again. I remember hiking at Watkins Glen with our daughter and family several years ago... Your right it is beautiful.
