Coming home

We are still vacationing. But we all woke up a little sad this morning in Harrisburg, PA because we know this is it. We will all be going home tonight -after we tour Hershey Chocolate Factory.

We did run into these buffalo friends in DC Sunday morning at the Holocaust museum. A crazy coincidence since neither of us knew the other was even in town. Our girls kept their 2 year old quiet there in the museum for about an hour. Eventually she had had enough and the last we saw them they were rushing her out of the museum screaming. Didn't even get to say goodbye.

And in Fayette the Sunday before there was another coincidence. Benny Walker from Washington. Like us they had been to the pageant the night before, camped and then drove to Fayette. Our girls love Benny like a big brother. He used to hang out with Aunt Candice and we've always wished we really could have him in the family. Caroline was devastated when they left us after we toured the Peter Whitmer home together.

More updates later. Gotta get home and take care of the garden. Hope it is stil alive.
