Kashann and Clan

One of the reasons we moved to New Hampshire was we decided in Buffalo that we love a snowy winter.  So where's the snow?  It had barely dipped below 35 until this last week.  Last Sunday was our coldest day we've had.

Coincidentally it was also the day I was determined despite cold and complaining that the whole family would help me out with the annual Christmas Card. I make the cards, write the letters, print the pictures, stamp and seal the envelopes. . . I really don't think 10 minutes in the backyard is asking too much!

As usual, the head of the household had the worst attitude of all about the yearly family picture ordeal.  I can't figure out what he hates so much about coordinating our outfits and smiling once a year, but I can always count on him, to say, "How many times are we going to have to take a family picture?"

Oh, brother.

Some day he is going to thank me for preserving these memories.

Lucky for me Marcus is good at doing what he is told. The other kids were bribed with a dollar each.  Given only if they held still, smiled and didn't complain, which of course Brent thought was ridiculous. Paying your children to take a picture. 


It just dawned on me that maybe I blew it, paying my children on the Sabbath. Whoops!

So that is the story behind the annual picture that I will be popping into our Christmas Cards in the next few days.
