Reliving Christmas 2006

These Christmas gifts have just sat around gathering dust for the last year and a half. Around our house a karaoke machine is way more exciting than battery operated cars. Thank goodness for Marcus. Brent and I have probably spent an entire week of our lives just sitting on our couch being entertained with homemade plays, ballets and musical programs.

So for Father's Day Brent dusted off some old toys and took the kids to the empty parking lot at the end of the street. Camille is riding the 3 wheeler we picked up for $2 at the thrift center. Brent hooked it up to the battery for his cordless drill and it was as good as new Christmas morning. Runs for about 30 minutes.

We also gave them 2 race cars that same Christmas. They have been out of the house only three times since then. Today we did them all at once and had lots of collisions. After about 10 minutes of being chased by a 3 wheeler and being rammed by her sister's race cars Caroline went running for the safety of home.
