Something to do on a snow day

Just In Case you don't like the narration of our snow day (below) here is something else to make it worth stopping by.
If you like Brownies and Rice Crispy Treats you'll love:

Chocolate Crunch Brownies

1. c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
6 T. cocoa
1 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

Combine in mixing bowl and spread in a greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake 350 for aobut 25 min.
Cool. Then spread
1 jar marsmellow cream over cooled brownies.
In a saucepan, melt
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Remove from heat and stir in
3 c. rice crispies
Spread over mashmellow layer.
Chill before cutting and store in refrigerator.

That is one sad day posted below. Crazy! Guess I should quit complaining about our constant snow here. It's been depressing!! We had our heater go out a few times. Once Jeff was out of town...that was fun!

PS I think I gained 5 lbs. just READING your recipe. Sounds sinfully rich and yum.
