President Hinkley our loving prophet died last night, Jan. 27th at the age 97. I heard this morning from a phone call from a friend. I remember the exact moment I found out about the death of each prophet during my lifetime, Spencer W. Kimball -mom woke us up one morning with the news. And then Ezra T. Benson and Howard W. Hunter passed away while I was attending Ricks College. Everytime with the news, I have felt a burning testimony that they truly were a prophet of God, and also great joy that we live in a day when wonderful men are called to speak for God on the earth. Every time he spoke I knew it was all true. This morning as I cry a little and remember this great spiritual giant, the spirit once again affirms to me that he truly was a prophet of God.
I loved Gordon B. Hinkley. He was optimistic, energetic and truly a great man in every way. I am so happy that he is now able to reunite with his beautiful wife. I hope I never forget the wonderful prophet's great legacy he has left to us and that I might daily strive to follow his counsel to "be a little better".

He taught so many valuable lessons and was such an inspirational man. He will be dearly missed.
