This morning our alarm clock radio woke us up with the news of Flight 3407 crashing near the Buffalo airport, in the Town of Clarence, last night at 10:20. All 49 people on board were killed, along with one man living in the home that was directly impacted when it crashed. A mother and daughter were able to escape from the house uninjured. So amazing that it just hit the one house. It is still burning now 10 hours later.
It is a sad day for western New York. My heart breaks for the grieving families and friends of flight 3407 that are devastated today.
When tragedy strikes close to home, it really hits you that our time here on earth is so short. I am resolved to live better, love more, and be more grateful for the many blessings I enjoy daily.
