Here's my Camille waiting for the bus the morning after her 9th Birthday wearing her new red coat. I love it when my girls braid their hair. Camille has lots of styles. She has been doing her own hair since kindergarten. It used to be so crazy I could barely stand to send her out the door with all her bows, ponys and ribbons. But I let her go without a word because I had learned from Kennon in kindergarten that it is best to let them experiment away. A couple years of really crazy do's makes for a very experienced beautician by age 9.
Besides her big bowl of peas the birthday girl also got a new Wii game -Disney Sing It, which provided a great family karaoke party last night in the basement. We have moved everything down to the bottom of our house now. That's where the fireplace is and where everyone wants to be.
Brent has been pining for Rock Band for a couple years now. I think this is better because we already know all the songs.
This video was not taken by me (it's pretty unsteady) and is just for people like Grandma who miss Camille and want to see her singing on her birthday.
