hey there! it took me quite some time to get the blog thing too. my tips: read the blog instruction things, they are handy; don't let brent help too much or you'll never learn; and go slow, eventually it all clicks. i still don't get tons of things but i'm better then i was when we started in sept. wahoo!
I agree with christy - you can figure most of it out on your own with the blogger help thing... the hardest thing for me was uploading pictures, but I eventually figured it out. email me if you have any specific questions - you are doing great!
